The 2nd International Conference on Smart Technologies and Applied Research (STAR 2025) welcomes multidisciplinary contributions in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Applied Sciences.
Submissions should focus on novel methodologies that push the boundaries of AI and computing, as well as AI-driven innovations across various domains such as healthcare, engineering, smart cities, and cybersecurity. The conference encourages papers that present innovative approaches with rigorous evaluations, rather than conventional methods. All submissions will undergo peer review and be evaluated for originality, technical quality, and relevance.
The conference will be held in hybrid mode — allowing both in-person and online participation — on December 19–20, 2025, and will be hosted by Superior University, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
STAR 2025 Conference Scope
We invite submissions in the broad domains of life sciences and applied bio-research, with emphasis on multidisciplinary and AI-driven methodologies. Areas include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to life sciences.
- Bioinformatics, computational biology & data analytics in biology.
- Agriculture, agri-food & food sciences: precision farming, bioprocessing, agro-biotechnology.
- Environmental biology, biodiversity, ecosystems, and sustainable bio-solutions.
- Biophysics, biochemistry, systems biology & multi-omics approaches
- Smart biosystems, sensor networks, IoT in biology, cyber-physical systems for life sciences.
- Biotechnology & Bioengineering: innovative processes, biomaterials, bioproducts.
- Biomedical sciences: diagnostics, therapy, imaging, smart health systems.
- Cross-disciplinary AI applications: e.g., in plant sciences, animal sciences, marine biology, microbial engineering.
- Microbiology and microbial biotechnology.
- Neuroscience and cognitive biology.
- Climate change and environmental biotechnology.
- Sustainable bio-economy and bio-innovation.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that have not been submitted elsewhere. Submissions should highlight novel methodologies, experimental validation, and potential real-world applications.
All papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, clarity, and relevance to the conference themes.
